Twilla Gregg, 90, of Lakeville, Indiana passed away peacefully at home Sunday, September 9, 2018. Twilla was born July 28, 1928, in Marshall County, Indiana to the late Millard and Vera (Winnell) Ross. She was preceded by her husband, Marvin Gregg; a grandson, Bryant O’Malley; a brother, Charles Ross and a sister, Mardell Gardner.
On June 12, 1955, at Pine Creek Church of the Brethren, Twilla married Marvin Gregg, the love of her life. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Steven Gregg of Lakeville, Sherrie (John) O’Malley of Crown Point, Indiana, Sally Wagner of South Bend, and Susan (Frank) Keszei of New Carlisle, Indiana; grandchildren Justin (Helen), Courtney, and Ashley O’Malley, James, Timothy, and Nicholas Wagner, Adam, Andrea, and Addyson Keszei; sisters, Judy Hopper, Joan Walsh; a brother Harold (Shirley) Ross; and many nieces and nephews.
Twilla graduated from North Liberty High School in 1946, and the South Bend Business College in 1947. She worked in the bookkeeping department for several businesses and for the American National Bank.
Twilla believed in the Lord Jesus and Heavenly Father and became a child of God at a very young age. She was a lifetime member of Pine Creek Church of the Brethren country church in North Liberty. She loved the Lord Jesus and Heavenly Father, her husband, Marvin, children, and grandchildren with all her heart. “I thank Jesus and God the Father for His grace, forgiveness, love and eternal life.”
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Pine Creek Church of the Brethren, 25075 Stanton Road, North Liberty, Indiana 46554. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2018, in Pine Creek Church of the Brethren, where family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Fair Cemetery, North Liberty.
