Sula (East) Foss

Sula Foss, 91, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Monday, November 5, 2018.

Sula was born March 14, 1927 in DeSota, Missouri to the late Carrdington and L. LuVa (Grant) East.

On September 6, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, Sula married Francesco Zoppe who preceded her in death in 1965.  On October 8, 1966 in Chicago, Illinois, Sula married John Foss who preceded her in death on November 14, 2015.

Sula is survived by a daughter, Franchesca Zoppe Walker of Thousand Oaks, California, two sons, Brian Francesco Zoppe of Pasadena, Texas and Steven Foss of La Porte, Indiana; five grandchildren, and three nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, a daughter, Laura Foss Wozniak; and a sister, Betty Lou Mis.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Greenwood Cemetery Chapel, Michigan City, Indiana.  Reverend Kevin Huber will officiate.  Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
