Steve T. Cigan

Steve T. Cigan, 79, of Walkerton, Indiana passed away Friday, October 5, 2018.

Steve was born October 15, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Steve J. and Pauline (Bortas) Cigan.

Steve was a lifelong farmer, a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, a member of the Allis Chalmers Club, the Red Power International Tractor Club, and the American Legion. He served his country in the Army Reserves.  Steve also loved animals, had a wonderful sense of humor, liked people and going to auctions, and enjoyed listening to old time country music by Willie Nelson and Johnny Cash.

Steve is survived by a sister, Mary Tobar of La Porte, Indiana; a brother, Frank (Claudette) Cigan of Fish Lake; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. A Parish Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, October 12, 2018, at St. Peter Catholic Church, La Porte, Indiana. Reverend Ian Williams will officiate. Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery.
