Romayne H. (Denzer) Graham

Romayne H. Graham, 93, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017. She was born April 9, 1924, in Frazee, Minnesota to Raymond and Berdie (Katzke) Denzer.  She was a secretary for Whirlpool and retired in 1984.

On February 12, 1946, Romayne married Louis Patrick Graham, who preceded her in death on July 6, 2007.  She leaves behind her daughter, Cheryl (Michael) Essling of La Porte, Indiana, two sons, Bruce (Debra) Graham of Lafayette, Indiana and Larry (Jan) Graham of Fort Wayne, Indiana; six grandchildren; Michaela (Andrew) Wehr, Ian (Rachel) Essling, Francie (Drew) Doster, David (Megan) Graham, John Graham  and Matthew (Katie) Graham; great grandchildren, Caroline Wehr, Graham and Eliana Essling; a sister,  Betty (Melvin) Walker of Sevierville, Tennessee; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, and a sister, Marlys Crabtree. 

Romayne was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church, an avid baker, Cubs fan, and music lover.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.  Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. following the visitation, with Pastor Dennis Meyer officiating.  Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte.
