Patricia (Bradley) Wahlig

Patricia Wahlig, 86, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017. She was born on February 20, 1931 in Peru, Indiana to John D. and Florence (Dick) Bradley.  Patricia retired from Howmet on January of 1992 after 25 years of service. 

On January 1, 1951, Patricia married Michael Wahlig who preceded her in death on November 17, 1990.  Surviving is a daughter, Beth Eckert of Plymouth, Indiana; sons, Timothy Wahlig of La Porte, Gregory Scott Wahlig of La Porte; grandchildren, Genia (Bryan) O’Donnell and Tricia (Robert) Eckert; great grandsons, Brock, Brett, and Braxton; and sisters, Sharon (Chris) Newhouse of Wabash, Indiana and Beverly Anakor of Brownsburg, Indiana.

Patricia attended Door Village United Methodist Church, volunteered at La Porte Hospital, was a member of Diabetic support group, the Swanson senior center, and the quarter century club at Howmet.  She enjoyed garage sales.

Visitation will be from 11a.m. to 1p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.  Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. immediately following visitation.  Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte.
