Michael J. Guzy III

Michael J. Guzy, III 19, lifetime of Frankfort, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. Loving son of Michael and Jennifer (Gammonley) Guzy, Jr.; cherished brother of Matthew Guzy; beloved grandson of Theresa “Tree” Guzy and the late Michael J. Guzy, Sr., and Jacqueline Gammonley and the late George Gammonley also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. He graduated from Lincoln Way East Community High School in 2018, he was a student at Western Michigan University on the Deans list, a member of Sigma Chi Faternity, Orland Park Vikings Hockey Club and the Lincoln Way and Bruins Hockey Club. Michael loved spending time at the cottage with his family. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Funeral Services Monday, June 17, 2019, prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:30am, leaving for St. Anthony Catholic Church for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private.
