Johnny Seiber Obituary

Johnny Seiber, 77, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019.

Johnny was born July 2, 1941 in Hohenwald, Tennessee to the late Levi and Bobbi Ann (McClain) Seiber.

On May 27, 1967 Johnny married Joan Metts who preceded him in death on July 24, 2011.

Johnny worked at Ampcor II from 1967 until his retirement in 2004.  He loved his family, fishing, cornhole and was always the life of the party.

Johnny is survived by a son, Jeff (Melissa) Seiber of La Porte, Indiana; four daughters, Joanna (Eric) Johnson of La Porte, Indiana, Tammy Measles of La Porte, Indiana, Jennifer Seiber of La Porte, Indiana, and Emerald Seiber-Measles of La Porte, Indiana; 17 grandchildren, Cruz, Caylyn, and Corrin Garcia, Brittany Stewart, Dallas Measles, Tequila, Corona, Silvano, Selena, Sebastian and Santiago Martinez-Seiber, Brett and Hunter Culvahouse, Charlee-Joan Harness, Phoster Klibinski, Serina Measles, and Cassie Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Jaxson Mercado, Gracen Garcia, and Syrus Lewis; four sisters, Ethel (Carl) Boyd of Newbern, Tennessee, Margaret (Gene) Mills of Homosassa, Florida, Dorothy Sue (Ed) Patterson of Hornbeak, Tennessee, and Pearl (Louis) Bettuo of Inverness, Florida; two brothers, Springer (Judy) Seiber of Hohenwald, Tennessee and Les Seiber of Dyersburg, Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Beverly (John) Parrett; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; a sister, Jenny McClain; and four brothers, Lawton Seiber, Kenneth Seiber, Monroe Seiber and Leroy Seiber.

Cremation has taken place. Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
