Donna Marie (Root) Vincett

Donna Marie Ballard Vincett, 53, of Michigan City, Indiana passed away Friday, December 29, 2017. Donna was born July 29, 1964 in Toledo, Ohio to Neil Root and Sandra Burning. She had been employed with Sears, Michigan City Transit, and Walmart.

On September 7, 2007, Donna married Leonard Vincett who survives. Also surviving are sons, Derek (Linda) Dougherty of Portage, Indiana, Raymond Ballard of Michigan City, Indiana, and Gene Powell Jr.; a daughter, Tabatha (Chris) Kelsey; her father, Neil Root of Ohio, grandchildren, Fred, Annalicia, and Chris Jr.; and brothers, David (Beverly) Root and William (Gina) Root of Ohio.

Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. Cremation has taken place.
