Donald Lee Williamson

Donald Lee Williamson, 90, of LaPorte, Indiana passed away Thursday, August 17, 2017.

Donald was born March 8, 1927, in LaPorte, Indiana to Lee Ray and Gertrude (Gorecky) Williamson.

On April 19, 1947, in LaPorte, Indiana Donald married Beverly Lee Deardurff, who preceded him in death on October 6, 2011.

Donald served in the United States Navy and attended the LaPorte Missionary Church.  He retired as a truck driver with Tucker Freight, formerly Clemons Trucking.

Donald leaves behind five daughters, Deborah Lane of Grand Prairie, Texas, Karen (Steven) Curtis of Valparaiso, Indiana, Victoria (David) Clark of LaPorte, Indiana, Christine Uribe of Santa Ana, California and Penny Williamson of Orange, California; seven grandchildren, Carrie, Meagan, Justin, Kaylee, Derek, Cassie, and Kylee; and one great-grandchild, Gisele.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly; and brothers, Richard, Melvin, and Arthur Williamson.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, LaPorte, Indiana, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.  Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the La Porte County Small Animal Shelter.
