Daniel G. Slater

Daniel G. Slater, 69, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Saturday, June 29, 2019.

Daniel was born on June 17, 1950 in Michigan City, Indiana to Victor and Charlotte (Lilly) Slater.

On November 2, 1974 Daniel married Beth Ann James who preceded him in death.

Daniel was a custodian for the La Porte Community Schools.

Daniel is survived by his daughter, Michele and son in law, Tony Orndorff of Terre Haute, Indiana; six amazing grandchildren; and by caring nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. following the visitation in the funeral home with Pastor Ronald A. Brauer officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Prairie Cemetery.
