Carl S. Gorecki, 85, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Thursday, May 30, 2019.
Carl was born January 31, 1934 in Chicago to Stephen and Josephine (Krzyzowska) Gorecki.
Carl retired as an Inspector with Joy Manufacturing in Michigan City after 30 years of service. He served his country as a Private First Class in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 451 in Michigan City and Queen of All Saints Catholic Church in Michigan City.
On November 30, 1957 Carl married Judith (Anders) who survives.
He also is survived by daughters, Kristine (David) Spehar of La Porte, Karlyn (Donald) Heath of Michigan City; a son, Kraig (Diane) Gorecki of La Porte; a grandson, Brandon; great grandchildren, Abigail, Dreyken, and Eden; a sister, Regina (Tom) Beck of Wheatfield, Indiana; and a brother, Eugene (Linda) Kleca of Berthoud, Colorado. Carl was preceded by his parents, a son, Kevin in 1968, and a brother, Edward Kleca.
Private services and burial will take place. Reverend Jordan Fetcko will officiate.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.
