Audry "Bo" McCarty

Audry  "Bo" McCarty, 76, of Kingsford Heights, Indiana passed away Saturday, March 30, 2019.

Audry was born February 16, 1943 in Kentucky to Oscar and Thelma (Reynolds) McCarty.

Audry was a truck driver for Howmet.  He served his county in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 434 in Kingsford Heights.

Audry leaves behind Pamela Vitale of Hanna, Indiana; two daughters, Poppie Lynn (Walter) Upton of West Virginia and Ashley (Carl) Crittendon of Kingsford Heights, Indiana; a son, Anthony R. McCarty of Bristol, Indiana; 11 grandchildren; three sisters, Delphine Walton and Zinda (Ed) Beerwart both of Hanna, Indiana and Kathy Alfrey of Kentucky; two brothers, Calvin “Pete” (Tina) McCarty of Knox, Indiana and Benny (Jo) McCarty of Kentucky.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary (Phyllstene) Briggs; and brothers, Harold, Leander and Kenny McCarty.  

Cremation services have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.  A military memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the American Legion Post 434 in Kingsford Heights, Indiana.
