William C. Lott

William C. Lott, 77, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017. Bill was born October 13, 1939, in Springfield, Illinois to William Henry and Pauline B. (Freeman) Lott. Bill retired from the La Porte city fire department as a Captain after 22 years of service. He then worked for the La Porte community school system for 17 years.

On July 25, 1967, Bill married Sandie S. Worthington who survives. Also surviving with his wife are his children, Michele (Verne) Maas of White Pigeon, Michigan, William P. (Josette) Lott of La Porte, Shane (Paula) Lott of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; five grandchildren, Olivia, Ryan, Will, and Sophie Lott, Alaina Mass; and a brother, Norman (Marta) Lott of La Porte. A brother, Howard Lott preceded him in death.

Bill served his country in the United States Marine Corps, was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Porte, the V. F. W. Post 1130, PRCU, and the Polish Falcons in La Porte.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Ave., La Porte, Indiana. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, June 21, 2017, in the funeral home, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the funeral.
