Therese J. (Frankinburger) Dudiak

Therese J. Dudiak, 84, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016.  Therese was born November 15, 1931 in La Porte, Indiana to John and Lena (Pankowski) Frankinburger.  She had worked for many years at Work Force One, and had previously worked as a waitress at the Holiday Inn and the former Charlies Restaurant all in La Porte.

Therese leaves behind a daughter, Maria Dudiak; and sons, Robert, Richard, and Roy Dudiak all of La Porte, Indiana.  On September 12, 1953, in La Porte, Therese married Raymond Dudiak, who preceded her in death on August 18, 2000.  She was also preceded by her parents, and brothers, Wilbur and Richard Frankinburger.

Therese was a member of St. Joseph Parish where she belonged to the Rosary Sodality, and cleaned the church up until a month before her death. 

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, ESSLING CHAPEL, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon Saturday, September 17, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the La Porte County Small Animal Shelter or St. Joseph Parish.
