Stanislaw Misiewicz

Stanislaw Misiewicz, 72 of La Porte, Indiana passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 in his home. He was born November 15, 1942 in Kanna, Poland to Jan and Zofia (Czupryna) Misiewicz. Stanislaw was a welder with I.M.W. for many years.

 On September 17, 1977 Stanislaw married Irena Dziekanowski who survives. Surviving with his wife Irene are sons, Chris (Anna) Misiewicz of La Porte Indiana, Lukasz Misiewicz of Bloomington, Indiana; a grandson Konrad Misiewicz; a sister Krystyna Lis of Poland; and a brother, Tadeusz Misiewicz of Poland.  A brother Mieczyslaw preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014, Essling Funeral Home, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte Indiana, where a Rosary will be prayed at 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, La Porte, Indiana. Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery La Porte.
