Rose Mary (Mills) Shei

Rose Mary Shei, 90, of Hanna, Indiana died on Thursday, April 6, 2017.

Rose Mary was born on May 7, 1926 to William and Florence (Demarah) Mills in San Pierre, Indiana.

On November 27, 1944, she married Harold Les Shei who survives.

Rose Mary is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mary Beth Harness; two sons, John (Connie) Shei and Jim (Sherry) Shei; six grandchildren, Jason (Janice) Shei, Jenifer (Randy) Filo, Nathan Shei, Casi (Brian) Garner, Kristen Barrett and Allison (Chris) Weaver; 14 great-grandchildren and one sister, Clara Bell Marks.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Juanita Sacks and three brothers, Donald Mills, Noel Mills, and Norman Mills.

Rose Mary worked at First Merchants National Bank as Branch Manager for 30 Years.  She loved family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Wanatah, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Ave, LaPorte, Indiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m.  Monday, April 10, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 204 N. Ohio Street, Wanatah, Indiana 46390.  Family & friends may gather at the funeral home from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Monday.
