Paul A. Mazac

Paul A. Mazac, 86 of Michigan City, Indiana passed away Monday, September 28, 2015.  Paul was born on April 27, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to Anthony and Anna (Korney) Mazac.  He retired from the Laborers Local Union #81 with Tonn & Blank Construction for 35 years. 

In 1955 Paul married Patricia Meeker who preceded him in death on November 26, 2002.  He was also preceded in death by his parents; a friend, Rosemary Sack; sisters, his twin, Anna Mazac, Frances Fleck; and brothers, Anthony Mazac Jr., and George Mazac.  

Paul leaves behind nieces, Michelle Spence and Suzanne Sanders; and nephews, Dave and Dan Fleck. 

Paul was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in New Buffalo, Michigan, served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, was a member of the Michigan City Moose, Masonic Lodge #83, Michigan City, Scottish Rite in South Bend, and the St. Joseph Young Men’s Club, Michigan City.

Private services will take place.  Essling Funeral Home-Frank L. Keszei Funeral Director, 1117 Indiana Avenue, LaPorte, Indiana is in charge of arrangements.
