Patricia A. H. (Hellmann) Parr

Patricia A. H. Parr, 83, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017, at her home. Patricia was born October 24, 1933, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to John and Philomena (Bochhold) Hellmann.

Patricia married John Hutcheson on August 23, 1955, and had four boys; John (Tami) Hutcheson of LaPorte, Indiana, Gregory (Tammy) Hutcheson of West Olive, Michigan, Mark (Michelle) Hutcheson of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, and James Hutcheson of Alexandria, Indiana; and 8 grandchildren; Anna, Kyle, Lisa, Justin, Spencer, Holly, Tyler and Troy. Patricia then married Maurice Parr on December 23, 1988, and became a stepmother to, Mary Jo (Mitch) Hamman, James (Kathleen) Parr, Brian Parr, Lucy (Ken) Jones, Beth (Scott) Chandler, Angelina (Chad) Houston, Patricia (Mark) Elsner, and Gretchen (Vincent) Sissler; and 19 step grandchildren.  Patricia was a sibling to, John, Louis, Lenus, Ray, Jerome, Frank, Patrick, Gilbert, Leo, Rosemary, Helen, Catherine, Henrietta, and, Mary Joan.

Patricia was employed by the Indiana Department of workforce development for 22 years, in Marion, Michigan City, and Lafayette, Indiana. She loved spending time with her family, reading, and gardening flowers.

A celebration of life will be held at 1-4 p.m. CST, on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at her residence, 4892 E. Scholl Road, Rolling Prairie, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
