Patricia A. (McCash) Jankoviak

Patricia A. Jankoviak, 85 of LaPorte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, August 25, 2015. Patricia was born in Cheboygan, MI, on August, 28, 1929 to Walter and Agnes (Cadieux) McCash. Patricia retired from Spartan Mfg. where she worked in data processing and inventory. On September 21, 1950, in Cheboygan, MI she married Thomas E. Jankoviak who survives. They were an almost inseparable pair, raising four boys and a girl in their nearly 65 years of marriage. Pat was what one might call "strong willed" but her intentions were always pure. A woman of strong faith, she passed on to her family and friends the goal of always doing your best and working on improving if your best wasn't quite good enough. She had a great sense of humor, sharing that with her husband and passing that on to her children. The world was a little bit more beautiful...and definitely more interesting...with Pat in it. She will be deeply missed and thought of often. Patricia is survived by one daughter; Lois (David) Singleton of Bisbee, AZ, and her son Thomas; four sons; Paul (Vikki) Jankoviak of Golden, CO, and their daughter AJ and son Danny; Dale Jankoviak of Austin, TX, Steven (Cindy) Jankoviak of Wylie, TX, and their daughters Andrea and Amanda; and Michael (Joan) Jankoviak of Bismark, ND, and their daughters Lauren, Elizabeth and son David; two sisters; Marion McCash of New Carlisle, IN, and Barbara Sutton of Aurora, Il, and several nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Agnes (Cadieux) McCash and her sister Bernadette Wenger of Cheboygan, MI. Patricia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
