Nora (Noble) Francis

Nora Francis, 89, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018.  She was born June 24, 1928 in Jackson, Kentucky to Dewey and Georgia (Hoover) Noble.  On December 10, 1946, in Whitesburg, Kentucky Nora married Sam Francis who preceded her in death on February 2, 2006. 

Nora is survived by a foster son, Henry Richie of South Bend, Indiana; and sisters, Marie Quadlin and Thelma Osborn of La Porte.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters, Lottie Farris, Mattie Howard, Ester Ann Myers; and brothers, Arthur, Orville, and Carl Noble. 

Visitation will be from 11a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2018, at the South Center United Baptist Church, 2507 US-6, Hamlet, Indiana 46532.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. in the church.  Burial will be in Union Mills Cemetery. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the South Center United Baptist Church.
