Miriam Jean (Long) Terry

Miriam “Jean” Terry, 90, of LaPorte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017.

Jean was born April 7, 1927 in LaPorte, Indiana to Earl and Jessie (Pfenning) Long.  On June 9, 1946, Jean married William Terry who preceded her in death on January 20, 2000.

She is survived by daughters, Donna (Todd) Weist of LaPorte, Indiana, Claudia (Jim) Garvin of Columbus, Indiana; a son, Chuck (Jennifer) Terry of New Carlisle, Indiana; grandchildren, Mac, Jenael, Sarah, & Richard; and great grandchildren, Vanessa, Emily, & Hannah.

Jean was a member of the First United Methodist Church in La Porte.

Cremation has taken place.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Ave, LaPorte, Indiana.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 1225 Michigan Avenue, LaPorte, Indiana 46350.
