Mary L. (Polcyn) Wojciechowski

Mary L. Wojciechowski, 97, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017.  Mary was born April 10, 1920, in South Bend, Indiana to John and Frances Polcyn.

On November 22, 1941, Mary married John E. Wojciechowski who preceded her in death on December 12, 2002.  Surviving are her children, Sharon Wojciechowski of La Porte, Ruth (Ron, deceased) Stepanek of La Porte, Marvin (Carol) Wojciechowski of Homer Glen, Illinois, Susan (Richard) Beahm of La Porte, and Barbara (Sam, deceased) Powers of Michigan City; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by three sisters.

Mary had worked at the Center Township Trustee's office. She was a member of St. Peter

Catholic Church where she had served on the funeral committee.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2017, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana, where a parish vigil service will be held at 4:30 p.m. 

A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at St. Peter Catholic church, with Reverend Ian Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Lake cemetery.
