Mary (Tsarouhas) Hertzberg

Maria “Mary” Hertzberg of La Porte, Indiana passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2016.  She was born March 10, 1926 in Nashua, New Hampshire to Vasilios and Elini Tsarouhas.    

On September 30, 1961 she married James W. Hertzberg who preceded her death on February 7, 2009.

She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, La Porte.

Mary leaves behind one son, Joseph P. Coleman of Schaumburg, IL; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded by her parents, husband and nephew, Daniel J. Hertzberg.

Family and friends may visit from 9-10:30 a.m. at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, ESSLING CHAPEL, 1117 Indiana Avenue, LaPorte, Indiana.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice.
