Marie (Pearson) Biernacki

Marie Biernacki, 87, of LaPorte, Indiana, entered into eternal peace Wednesday, March 29, 2017.

Marie was born March 21, 1930, in LaPorte, Indiana, to George and Martha (Feikes) Pearson.

Marie was the owner of Drapery Specialist for over 30 years.

On November 18, 1950, she married Joseph Biernacki who preceded her in death on January 23, 2017.

Marie leaves many loving memories to be cherished by two sons, Joe (Cindy) Biernacki of LaPorte, Indiana and Louis (Karen) Biernacki of LaPorte, Indiana; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Pearson of Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Biernacki; her husband Joseph; a sister, Kathleen Pearson; and a brother, George Pearson.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday. March 31, 2017, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Ave, LaPorte, Indiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2017, at St. Peter Catholic Church, LaPorte, Indiana.  Reverend Ian Williams will officiate. Family and friends may gather at 9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.
