John W. Clingler

John W. Clingler 75, of Union Mills, Indiana, formerly of Valparaiso, Indiana passed away Monday May, 18, 2015.

John was born to Willis and Matilda (Garvey) Clingler on September 30, 1939 in Hebron, Indiana. John went on to graduate from The Indiana School for the Deaf in Indianapolis. He retired from American Home Foods Company and worked at Ye Olde Pipe Shoppe.

John is survived by his sisters; Roszelia Smyers of South Bend, Indiana and Margaret (John Jr.) Coyle of Richmond, Indiana; three nieces and four nephews; as well as many great nieces and nephews: and great- great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Helen Cites and Irene Flynn; and brothers, Dave Flynn, Harry Clingler, Lester Flynn, and Kenneth Clingler.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015, Essling Funeral Home, Frank L. Keszei, Funeral Director, 1117 Indiana Ave, LaPorte, Indiana. Graveside services will follow the visitation at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at Union Mills Cemetery in Union Mills, Indiana.
