Gerald Dean Daniel Banks, 76, of Valparaiso, Indiana passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2018. Gerald was born on July 19, 1941, in Chicago Heights, Illinois to Paul Henry and Gladys Amanda (Pauling) Banks.

Gerald is survived by his sister, Diane J. Noe of La Porte, Indiana and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul Monty Banks.

Gerald served his country in the United States Army. He was a gentle soul. There is joy in the homecoming between Gerald, his parents and brother now that they are all together again.

Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana is handling arrangements. Private burial will take place at a later date.
