Elizabeth Wray, 88, of La Porte, Indiana passed away at 1:55 a.m. November 18, 2014, in La Porte.  She was born February 27, 1926 in La Porte, Indiana to Benjamin and Lydia (Wilken) Bortz Sr.  On September 7, 1990, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada, Elizabeth married Herman Wray, who preceded her in death on March 17, 1997.  Elizabeth graduated in 1944 from La Porte High School.  She had been employed by Knudsen Creamery as an office assistant in Los Angeles, California.

Elizabeth is survived by nieces Barbara (Kurt) Perschke and Shirley J. Bortz, and nephew Robert (Karen) Bortz, all of La Porte, Indiana, and a niece, Mary Redamak of New Buffalo, Michigan.  She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister Elna Blackhurst; and a brother Ben Bortz Jr.

A private burial will take place in Ruidoso, New Mexico.
