Dorothy E. (Everly) Levandoski

Dorothy E. Levandoski, 91, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016.  Dorothy was born, February 24, 1925 in Elkhart, Indiana to Robert and Clara (Kunkel) Everly.  She was a homemaker and formerly worked with La Porte Bank & Trust Company as a Teller.

On April 14, 1951 in La Porte, Dorothy married Raymond G. “Tink” Levandoski who preceded her in death on October 8, 1989.  Dorothy leaves many loving memories to be cherished by her children, Christine Levandoski, Mary Wade, and R. Andrew “Buck” (Karen) Levandoski all of La Porte; grandchildren, Melissa (Nate) Hamil and Jake Shelton; great grandchildren; Eli, Zeke, Evelyn, Evan, Max, and John; and step grandchildren, Sam, Krissy, Sarah, Jamie, Ryan, and Robin; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a son, Bruce Levandoski, son-in-law, Robin Wade, and brothers, Robert and Melvin Everly.

Dorothy was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in La Porte, and a member of the Senior Circle, the Circle 8, the Ladies Aid group, and the Thrift Shop all of St. John Lutheran Church.  She was a volunteer at the La Porte gift shop and a member of the La Porte Hospital Auxiliary. 

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church in La Porte, with Reverend Ronald A. Brauer officiating.  Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the funeral services at the church.  Burial will be in Pine Lake Cemetery.
