Dorothy Dottie (Wojdyla) Daisy

Dorothy “Dottie” Daisy 72 of LaPorte, Indiana passed away Monday, June 8, 2015.

Dottie was born January 23, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank and Mildred (Kuczek) Wojdyla.  She retired from the South Bend Tribune as a customer service representative and graduated from LaPorte High School.

On January 30, 1960 Dottie married Norman A. Daisy who survives.  Surviving with her husband of 55 years are her sons, Norman (Leeann) Daisy Jr. of LaPorte, Indiana, Thomas Daisy of LaPorte; grandchildren, Brian, Nick, Alicia, & Skylor Daisy; and many nieces and nephews.   

Dottie was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Barbara Catalano and a brother, Jim Wojdyla. 

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Friday, June 12, 2015, Essling Funeral Home-Frank L. Keszei Funeral Director, 1117 Indiana Avenue, LaPorte, Indiana.  Funeral services will follow the visitation at 11 a.m. with Reverend Ricky Bray officiating.

Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte.
