Deborah M. Brown

Deborah M. Brown, 66, of La Porte, Indiana passed away Friday, January 19, 2018.

Deborah was born March 15, 1951 in York, Pennsylvania to Adrian Lance and Mildred (Walker) Brown.

She retired in 2015 from Howmet where she was a member of the Quarter Century Club.  She was happiest when she was gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, or going on walks with her dog. 

Deborah is survived by a son, Donald Allen Young of La Porte, Indiana; two daughters, Michelle (David Smith) A. Young of Cassopolis, Michigan and Christin (Brian) Hoyt of Brownsburg, Indiana, seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Brenda (Bob) Osif of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; a brother, Bruce (Marcie) Brown of La Porte, Indiana; three nieces; and two nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Steven Dickie officiating.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
